Women Ministry

John the Baptist was the son of Zechariah and Elizabeth, born to them in their old age. The couple had been serving the Lord diligently in holiness and righteousness until the prophecy of the conception and birth of their son came. It seemed an impossible event to Zechariah until the Lord gave him a sign of dumbness to affirm the impending miracle (Luke 1:5-20). John’s birth was a testimonial to the power of God to do the seemingly impossible.

Youth Ministry

“And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged” (Genesis 8:1). God delivered Noah from perishing with the wicked. He knows how to deliver the righteous while the wicked are judged for their sins.

Children Ministry

John the Baptist prepared the way for the first coming of the Lord Jesus. Christ will soon come again as He promised (John 14:3). Believers should prepare His way by reaching out to dying sinners, restoring backsliders, edifying the saints and multiplying disciples. Repentance was the centre of John’s message. He called the people to conversion and good works. Genuine conversion brings a change of life and character.

Campus Ministry

No matter the prevalence of corruption in the society, the believer can still be preserved and kept pure. Noah heard from God, despite the noise and din of evil around him. If we walk with God in righteousness and true holiness in this perverse and degenerate world, we shall be taken away to be with the Lord at the rapture and shall reign with Him forever and ever.

Music Ministry

Moses and the children of Israel demonstrated their appreciation to God almighty by singing praises unto Him. “Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea” (Exodus 15:1).  The song reveals the graciousness of God, mercy and care for His chosen people. This was the first recorded song in the Scriptures.

Outreach

The statement, “These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread” (Genesis 9:19) is very instructive. The survivors of the flood were only eight and they repopulated the earth because each of them continued to reproduce. This is an indication that the law of multiplication does not require large numbers. If believers adopt this model of reproducing themselves, as a strategy for evangelism and church planting, there would be unprecedented growth in all our churches.
