Following Jesus

You are committing your life to Jesus? That is wonderful. Salvation is the greatest thing that can ever happen to a person. We will be glad to help you along the way in your walk with Jesus.

Understanding salvation

Salvation is not by any merit, it is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. No one is good enough to save
himself and no one is so bad that God cannot save. He justifies freely by His grace those who have been
redeemed by His Son (Rom 5:1). Saving faith is trusting in the finished work of Christ on the cross.

Salvation is not based on your feelings but on the fact of the Scripture and faith in Christ. You can be
saved now, if you will repent of all your sins and believe in Christ.

SAVING FAITH

Saving faith is trusting in the finished work of Christ on the cross. This
faith entails:
1. Believing that Jesus died for your sins.
2. That God forgives and remembers no more all your sins.
3. That salvation is available to you regardless of your load of sins.

GENUINE REPENTANCE

Repentance is a change of mind regarding sin. This goes beyond a change of views as regards sin but
include a change of attitude and feelings towards sin. Repentance always implies hatred of sin. It is a
deep work and a heart work that results to a new man.

It extends to the whole man; the mind, the
members of the body, the notions of sin and the world.

The marvelous love and grace of God

(John 3:16)  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

(Rom 6:23)  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
